Sinking of Boeing 737 A Success

Today a boeing 737 was scuttled as an artifical reef about 20 minutes north of me. I ran perimeter security for the sinking. About 150 vessels showed up and it went off without a hitch. No wind and almost no current sure helped alot.

Here are a few pics of our local Coat Guard. The ribs are titan boats 24.9ft powered by twin 250's and a 22ft powered by twin 150's. Discovery Channel was on site filming the whole event.

Hi Ocean
Nice photos and a great project, here is a similar one in Cornwall UK, the sinking of the a former Royal Navy frigate HMS Scylla to create Europe's first artificial diving reef.
