Slipways inIreland

Hi folks,

I have recently been in contact with Geoff Cambell who runs www.boatlaunch.co.uk

At the moment he has very few slipway entries for Ireland on his data base .

I have asked some of the gang here in Ireland to visit the site and fill in details on the online form for any launch areas or marinas that they are familiar with.

Could I ask any Rib.Net users from Ireland to do the same ?

Naturally, anyone who is thinking of visiting us here in Ireland should feel free to contact us for info or advice or pints at any time !

Be aware also that we now have fast craft safety legislation in force over here governing minimum ages ( 16) for driving fast craft ( a craft capable of a speed of 17 knots) and also the compulsary wearing of lifejackets at all times by all aboard fast craft.

Best wishes,

Stuart McNamara
