Small Rib Storage , launching round Poole

So have been looking into where to keep the boat now I dont have a garage...

Needing it to be local ish to Poole and launching...I think Poole/Studland/Swanage is ideal for Streaker...

Some info if anyone is thinking the same things...

Poole Council will rent you a garage for £12 a week - but only for a car ! ( just dont tell them its a boat ? )

Cobbs quay want £786.80 to be able to keep it on its trailer from 1st April - 30th Sept and launch at thier slip.

Salterns & Parkstone - dont even bother - silly silly money for a 4m boat!

I could keep it at a mates for free and launch at Baiter for £10 a day

Or Hamworthy for free ( but its a very narrow gate ....and slip)

Davis Boatyard (next to Cobbs) have offered me £22.89 a week to store and use thier slipway.

I know what I am inclined to do , but any other suggestions or bright ideas - what would anyone else do ?

Further afield you could try asking local farmers about storage... Most famers wont have indoor storage space but many may let you keep it at the corner of a farm yard etc for a few quid a month.

Slipway at Kimmeridge is always another bet...

Keep my 4.7m (they allow up to 5m) at Sandbanks Boatyard and Marina great location near the harbour entrance and can launch and recover at nearly all stages of the tide.

It's got a lot more expensive over the last couple of years but still not that bad.

Don't know if they have any vacancies as storage on land is limited.
