Snoopy

Some of you may have seen the BBC coverage on BBC South Today last week about the Snoopy Sloop attempt at getting a small robot boat across the Atlantic .
Robin is an old friend and has run into problems with Snoopy who seems to have gone ashore around the Needles.

I was hoping to mount a recovery but a combination of gout and the boat being out of the water have made that hard for me .
I suggested to him a post on Ribnet may help.

It's a pity that the deadline is Friday. If it was Sunday we might have been able to get a rescue fleet out there en route (sort of!) to the Folly.

I hope they do manage to find Snoopy

John, i think the only dealine is 31/12 to make the attempt , Robin is probably thinking about the ŵeather window that seems to be closing . If my bloody foot gets better I will have a go on Thursday . I hate getting old !
