Soft Floor

I have just noticed the floor around the anchor hatch on my Ring 600 is a bit soft for about an inch right the way around the hatch. I believe I can cut it back and flange a new piece of marine ply in, am I right. My knowledge of ribs is countable in days, my first rib, loved the colour.

Could you fit a bigger hatch?

A picture is worth a thousand words. Making an anchor hatch larger doesn't make sense if it requires re-fabricating a section of the hull.

It is possible to replace wood and glass it back in. It is a nasty job working with fiberglass though.

How big of a project is this project boat?
