I think you'll find there's no legislation regarding silver reflective tape on the load carried by a trailer. It doesn't have bulbs in it, and you'd be in trouble if someones headlights shone on a chrome bumper if that was the case too.
It's implicitly implied in the legislation that 'SHOWING' light involves a light source, not a reflective surface on a load.

UK RVLR legislation includes light reflected from reflective material not just that from lamps. However, it specifies that the light reflecting surface must be designed primarily to reflect light so a chrome bumper or similar shiny surface doesn't count.
"(3) Material designed primarily to reflect light is, when reflecting light, to be treated for the purposes of these Regulations as showing a light, and material capable of reflecting an image is not, when reflecting the image of a light, to be so treated."

SOLAS 3M tape, advice pls, how to make it forever
Not sure about that , when rnli inflatable boats started to have white retro reflective tape fitted on the bow quarters & sides & were being transported by road (bow to rear ) unless on service they had to be sheeted /covered up to fit in with traffic lighting regulations ( no white to be shown from rear or side ) including retro reflective tape ?

Ok, which glue be the best to glue anti-slip material (1,7mm) 30x30cm to PVC VALMEX tubes ?
And how much do I need ?
I have 250 ml VINYCOL 1520 m2 - not sure if it be enough
I will have 4 items 30x30cm and 4 items 10-x30 cm

Do we have any RIB.net member works in poly marine ?
It is usually fastest way to have the answer.
