Sold my Zodiac 4.8 - Looking for something smaller!

Hi all, i know this is against the norm but after owning a Zodiac 4.8m Open for over two years now, i have sold it and looking to buy something smaller.

The reasoning is this:

I'm based in Lizard, Cornwall so often seas rough so would prefer a deep v hull.

I'm often on my own and launch from Mullion so prefer something easier to launch / lighter / smaller.

I do a lot of spearfishing so would prefer something with maximised internal space (i.e no seat in the middle that divides the boat in two is preferable)

I want something tough. Something i can beach with little worry. A proper little workhorse.

Would be ideal if i could also fit my Dog Dexter (large French mastiff)... oh... and my wife also would be good.

Looking for something second hand but reliable. I dont want to worry about every little scratch etc.

Budget is between 6 - 12k

Was thinking of a Brig e380 maybe (although that has a dividing seat) or a second hand small ribcraft or maybe a Highfield 390 sport which seems to have everything i need but on the large size.

Open to any other suggestions... even ones that are outside the box

Have you considered an Avon sr4? I use mine for spearfishing and it's very capable for it's tiny size. My collie Bob fits in no problem when he comes along for a ride.

To be honest. No. But I am now

Main reason is that I ideally was looking for something smaller to “justify” the change

Can you beach / retrieve those ok? Love the lack of clutter and space available for fins/guns /Coolerbox etc

Only times I've beached it I've let the tide refloat it, too heavy for me to manhandle it back to the water.
