You do realise you're clashing with the first episode of the new series of spooks?

It's a tough choice!

Well nobody has suggested anywhere else, so top of the hill it is.

Turn off the main road onto Widley walk as if you are going to the pub, but go past the pub car park entrance, and about twenty yards further up on the Right is an entrance to a car park. Its very tight between two wooden posts with huge lumps of rock behind them. Find the Black Shogun and you'll find me.

I'll get up there about 7:30 to light a couple of throw away BBQ's.
I'll also have a small stove to brew up.
Bring your own food, drink and sense of humour.
If its wet etc we can retire to the pub.

Back to normal next month.

I'll be travelling most of the day so if anyone has any questions please ring me on 07767 705589.

Nasher.

Many thanks for the good wishes Bogib and good luck with the sad task you and your comrades are performing at the moment.

'Twas an excellent night as many Ribbing folk gathered atop Portsdown to eat half cooked and cremated things and enjoy a little dropeen.

Thanks Nash! Excellent BBQ! We had a great time! Lovely to see you all (bar one or two regulars who were sadly missed but we raised a glass) .

It was a day for Ashes to be sure to be sure

Nasher.

Clear night, except for the smoke and steam, with a bright orange 3/4 moon. We could almost see Slim Tims house from where we were.
