Solent July gathering/BBQ

Hello all

As per the events Diary its been agreed that the July meet will take place as a BBQ on the hill top further along the lane from the Churchillian.

If its raining, I suggest reverting to a normal meeting in the pub.

Grass skirts for the girls, and lairy shirts for the guys.

Suggest bringing a disposable BBQ and/or some food and drinks, it'll all sort itself out.
The large lumps of stone at the far end of the car park were ideal for putting the BBQs on last year.

Should be a good evening, although its 50/50 if I'll actualy be able to make it this time.

Nasher.

You mean Debs wants a night out in a posh restaurant rather than Jimbos sausages on a disposable BBQ with us lot singing 'appy birthday'

I and Jon Baldur we are at Silverstone, we might even have chance to pop up tonight, all pending on our meetings today though.

Dear all

Opinions please.

The forecast is not good, do we go with it? or make it a normal meet in the pub?

Hmm, think we should cancel the BBQ part and just go for a normal pub night. Just spoke to Aging Youth here at work he thinks the same.

Think it'll be a good idea to forget the BBQ, its raining here at the moment and the forecast is the same through the evening.

Perhaps next month, or next week as a special.

See you all at the Church then.

Obviously if any hardy individuals want to continue with plan A we'll be pi***d off if the weather breaks, but will enjoy waving out of the pub window otherwise.

Nasher.
