I've got one of their large "alligator" lid boxes with my divegear in it. I've had it years (think I got it at the Southampton boat show in 2003) and it's pretty much bombproof. You can't go wrong with it.

All the Solent Plastics gear I've seen or had myself has been good quality.
I currently have one of their Waterproof cases as a spares/toolbox in my RIB.
It's even impregnated with an anti-rust chemical to help keep the tools in good nick.
Nasher.

Not really, the lid interlocks but isn't really sturdy enough to sit on. (Or I'm just fat!!)

We used them for work stuff several years ago and we're impressed, even though they are about as far away as you can get in the UK. I have recently been thinking about storage again and they were first place I looked.

Got an orange one of these doing the same duty. Very pleased with it. Haven't thrown it in the drink yet but it has kept everything in it bone dry out in the open in the boat. It was billed as a 'Bait Box' when I bought it on Fleabay.

Might not work with your colour scheme but igloo cool boxes work well as dry storage and double up as seats too!

Used them several times and very happy.
Not sure where you are located but they have a really good showroom which has all sorts of end of lines and odd ball bits not on their web site. Worth a visit if you can.

Have used Solent Plastics too. Good stuff. Bought a few of these; certainly big enough and you could definitely sit on them (or in them!).

For something that large is 100% waterproof always the best idea ? its one thing keeping water out of a small Peli case when you are opening it up on a rib, however with no ventilation larger storage boxes will get some damp in them and this just then makes everything smell musty or go rusty
