thanks due to lockdown i havent been to see it yet, its a 2015 looks really nice but a bit expensive, so will certainly have a good look at the areas you suggest.

Looks a really good boat in the ad. Fairweather Marine and Solent RIBs are one and the same.
175hp will be plenty.

No experience of silent ribs but I have a stealing suspicion they were based off of a Steve baker phantom hull.

Narrow hulls are much better at slicing through the waves rather than a big beamy barge
