I was driving along the Greenbank this afternoon and spotted a Protector strictly observing the speed limit going past Flushing New Quay. Great looking rig.

Sorry Bob - you probably passed us whilr we were having lunch in falmouth - previous to that we were out by the mouth of the helford river trying in vien to get me up on a wakeboard. After lunch we were back in the ski area.

Soirry to have missed you.

Thanks for taking some pictures Alex - can you mail me the high res versions.

Sorry I couldnt keep up when you blasted off - I had too many oldies on the boat complaining of the cold

After lunch I did finally get up on my wakeboard (on about the 20th attempt) - which is quite an achievement when you weigh 20 stone.

I will be out again tomorrow to try and get a bit better at it as my first few goes where a bit erratic to say the least.

Tell you what though - im glad I went for the 140 - its unlikely the 115 would have pulled me out with 5 passengers in the boat.

My little girl is 9 and a tad on the chubby side she insisted on having a go on my 11yo sons wakeboard. I eventually gave in, as she slipped into the water I whispered to the rest of the kids in the boat "If she gets up I'll eat my wetsuit." Up first tow!! I couldn't believe it!! Then I had to endure a chorus of "We're gonna BBQ Daddies wetsuit, an he's got to eat it!"

OK GUYS AND GIRLS

Time is up

I am going to book the Ganges for 7pm for 15 people and the Bowling for 16 people at 9pm for 1 game.

What happens after that is down to you guys - but I have a contingency plan that doesn't involve driving just in case

Remember the Bowling want a 50% deposit - which i am going to pay - so if any of you buggers don't show - there will be hell up

If anyone wants to make amendments or additions after today - I will see what I can do but it cant be guaranteed.

Sounds good Roy . I'm ditching the car for the eve. There's a new grown-ups bar in Truro that's supposed to be good.

Dont know about you guys but the weather is looking fantastic or the day before our night out.

If the forcast stays true I will definately be out on the water Saturday (cant make the sunday though )

I will probably be trying to improve on my wakeboarding again but that will depend on me finding a driver - if not then a trip up the coast will be on the cards.
