A friend of mine was down on Saturday and commented that it was dead, more so than a quiet weekday in the past. Not many Rib Manufacturers on show either..

Going on Wednesday. Mrs NSS got the tickets with her Tesco Clubcard points. Not sure if that's a green light from her to upgrade, or just a bit of RIB teasing :-(

Anyone going tomorrow, Friday the 23rd?
Spent a good day there on Sunday with the family, but am going back tomorrow to spend a bit longer on a couple of things the family would be bored with.
Lunch time beer anyone?
Nasher.

I also went on Saturday, and it really was the quietest I've ever seen it, although I expect the news at the end will be record sales, record attendance etc!
As one exhibitor said to me, "we're doomed"!!!!

The attendance figure quoted to me was 20-25% down on last year, which was down on the year before that.....

Sorry Andy, it would have been a good idea, but I’ve an 8.30am meeting in Weymouth for work then going to the show on the way home.
I’ll keep an eye out for you though.
Nasher

Went today, first time on a RIB shows numbers just right quite busy but not heaving compared to my last visit.
Would have liked to have gone on a Ribcraft but ended up on a Ribquest & Humber - Humber are very keenly priced compared to the competition so no point wasting Ribcrafts time. Good show of RIBs especially in the marina. Humber were not listed as showing but had 4 models, Ribcraft loads and numerous other marques Good chat with the guys on the Suzuki stand and Steve (pictured) who took us out was on top form Kids thought it was great.....

that suggests that they aren't really in competition... like comparing a bmw 1 series and a fiesta. You should possibly have tried both so you can see what, if anything, you might be missing.

A bit like testing beds
Being a RIB newcomer once myself, I do however suggest you try several different models before you buy though.

Well I thought that the attendance today was quite good, plenty of visitors but not so many that you could not get anywhere. Some exhibitors thought that tomorrow could be quite busy. Guess the good weather has a part to play.
Shock horror, I managed to get a couple of items I have been looking for at reasonable prices - McMurdo PLB210 for £189.95 including floaty pouch, lanyard and belt pouch, and a couple of Crewfit 190s. Just hope that I do not need any of them
