As Ian says, the attendance at the show today was 'comfortable' for us as punters, but I'd imagine a bit slack for some of the traders.
Was good to catch up with Hightower and IanM, we did hang around on the pontoon having a good look at Cookees new boat, but he was inside obviously putting together a big deal, so we wandered off.
I really feel like I've made the most of the show this year.
Sunday was great with Mrs Nasher and the smaller Nashers for our usual family day out, and going back today by myself allowed me to concentrate of a few things I really wanted to spend some more time on.
Hooking up with Hightower for a wander round the pontoons and a tour of the Navy ship was good, as was seeing Mr and Mrs M. I also went along to see some old colleagues and acquaintances on various stands, so unusually for me it was a nice social day out.
Boats of the show?
Rib wise I do like the one off Ribcraft bowrider design exercise, even though it wouldn’t be a good layout for our use of a boat.
Also liked the new Hydromax range, and of course the Revengers and Goldfish.
Other than that, can’t stop thinking about the Beneteau Swift Trawler 44 and 37, plus the same size Targas.
