Specialist Bowden cables

Have an issue with specialist Bowden cables

OEM are silly money good used rare as hens teeth anyone know of a form who can make up based on the old part? Ave tried wd40 but sheered the adjuster trying to remove it so need a new end crimping on anyway now

Been offered used in poor but working condition for £120 new are £250+ should be simple enough for someone with the tools? The are a pair abd no aftermarket optoma I can find

OEM part number F1W-6153E-01-00 Yamaha

I can't promise anything - but their reputation "back in the day" was that they could make you anything. So if you've got the original bits they can can reuse the good stuff and match the broken stuff, you might be in luck.

I know the handbrake cables on my kit car came from them - with a mini handbrake lever on one end and ford granada calipers on the other.

Erm? No idea? Needs the specific ends and they need fitting at the ends after assembly as it passes through a waterproof grommet in the hull

Ah no the steering and reverse are like those the trim is like a bike brake cable very fine inner with a cylinder end crimp

For £250 i think id be altering things so I could use an alternative, doesnt sound like there particularly substantial & a bit of ingenuity would probably find a solution.
Whereabouts are you? I bet one of the members on here could make/adapt something for far less than £250

Here you go, Yamaha cable ends - will fit a 33c type cable. (Might not be the right ones, but all available on ebay).

What engine is this for?
