Spotted this rib on the Thames in London

Spotted this rib on the Thames not sure what make it is but it only looks around 5m yet it has a massive 250hp high output lump on the back! Anyone know it ?

christ that won't last long. Total overkill. If he floored it, he may well crack the transom... if it isn't cracked already just from the weight. Pointless too as I'd guess about a 135 would push it to its max hull speed before chine walking anyway.

It looks bigger than 5 meters.
My rib is 6 meters i have a 200 optimax and it's asking for more.(but i have racing buckets and foot throttle)

That looks like that could be an early model 6.5m Sillinger which is rated for a 225hp four stroke. That etec is considerably lighter, I'd have put a 300 instead!

I think the rib looks max of 5.5m but have not got close enough to it to be sure but it is close to loads of other ribs moored in the same area maybe to other members ribs?

its around the Putney area during the summer quite a bit. I saw it drop someone onto the wall next to what seemed to be Fulham Football ground once who then proceeded to go into the stadium from the river/over the wall.

i know james the guy who owns it its just been retubed 5.5m .......... he is mates with the guy who owns the two minesweepers on the cans at chelsea .....
