If you're tempted, do it! A great buy. Not many like that around at that price. Ones that clean usually have a 45/50 yam or tohatsu asking silly money like £4K+ because they've spent so much on them retubing etc

Fresh water use perhaps. If I had 2 and a bit grand floating I'd nab it

That's the problem though, over £3.5k for a 4m boat, your'e heading for 5.4m and above territory. It loses the big boat at small price appeal. Those over £4K seem to hang around for quite some time.

agree over £4k is too much unless its newish or with newish outboard. but I think £3500 for a nice as your possibly going to find example is a fair price .after all that sort of money isn't going to buy much of a 5 metre and above you would be back down to tatty needing tlc territory

I bought mine last year for 3k. Really exceptional boat. Hallmark rollercoaster trailer. M40c outboard...Bit old looking outside but was found to be like new inside. No extras, just v good cover. Spent about a grand kitting out....
It's a bargain in my opinion. Engine is superb and the fun is unreal.
I'd have no hestitation recommending the old Tohatsu engine to anyone...it's impeccable and fast.
Been freely offered over 4k over a dozen times now. Literally seem to get an offer per month. Will never sell anytime soon.
I haggled to get 500 off mine. If I had known what I know now....I wouldn't even have risked haggling...would have just bought it without question.
Absolutely superb small Rib.
Glad I got this one too. Have you seen the costs involved in refining, tidying up scrappy ones....scary.
