hi i am doing some work on my sr 4 mt hull can any body tell me the colour of the hull i know its orange but what the real name if you know what i mean as the last owner sprayed it black also i am thinking making a nw concole out of ply and fiberglassing over it how can i get a nice smooth finish on the out side and what will i need for it many thanks will post some pics when i can find my cam as the kids have had it lol

If you're painting the whole boat it won't make a lot of odds if you get it slightly out as it'll be unnnoticeable.

If you're removing all the paint from it, I'd use flowcoat rather than painting it.

Gelcoat,the wax additive to make it into flowcoat and tangerine pigment are available on Ebay.
