SR4 A Frame
Well, the boat is ready for the water and the only thing i need to get now to finish it off is an A frame.
So can anyone recommend a good off the shelf frame or any opinions on the design of frame i should fit...double frame, size of tube, material etc?
Would like second hand but hard to come across.
Cheers guys.

I'd suggest you fit a simple 2" OD stainless single frame. It would suit the rugged looks of a SR4.
If you don't have access to a mandrel tube bender, then you can use 3 straight lengths of tube and a couple of 90 degree pre-formed bends. Some 3-5mm flat plate can be used for mounting lights, antennae, etc and for fixing plates to the transom. A decent welder/fabricator would be able to knock one up for you in a couple of hours.
I can post pics of 'one I prepared earlier' if you like.

gArf only moved to Peal, so when people ask where he lives, he can openly say what's on his mind.....

Thanks for your comments, guys.
Something like that should do the job fine for a SR4. If it's the sort of thing you're looking for, but you can't get one made locally, let me know and I'll see if I can get one priced up for you.
