Hi dude

I have a international orange SR4.7 console and a SS tank.

The tank was custom made to fit inside an adapted SR4.7 console so I see no reason why they shouldn't go well together

You can have the pair for £100 but I can't get any pics till next week

Something a bit different to the usual Sr4 console......

Nearly finished rigging it complete Baystar hyd steering, internal battery and 90ltr fuel tank inside the console.

90 litres? Planning on channel crossing? Thats a BIG tank, and you'll notice it slopping if it's not baffled. You'd be better off with a pair of 45 litres or 4x20 litres.

Boat looks great!

Is 90 litres not a bit too much weight up front in a boat that small?

Boat looks great!
spoken like a true ADR certificate holder...

I'm not too concerned about the slopping, the tank is only 300mm wide so, baffled or not, i reckon it'l only suffer a minimum of free surface effect. I'm quite confident that longitudinal FSA will be manageable too.

Its more of a ballast tank than anything as i want to avoid the boat being stern heavy. The tank is pushed as far forward as possible along with the battery and of course the console itself.

The idea is also to keep what little deck space there is on an SR4 as uncluttered as possible. No tanks on deck, no battery box, no cables/hoses etc... All there is is a Mercury rigging hose fitted to the rear of the console carrying everything aft to the engine.

Cheers for the comments guys. hopeing to get it seaworthy by the weekend/start of next week.

Simon
