SR4 storage solutions
Hey people.
The current storage box in the back of my searider is a good size, but could do with being a bit deeper.
Anybody know of, or have a deeper container in their Searider?
Needs a good solid lid, perhaps with hinges.
What other solutions are there for storing kit on a 4m RIB?
Brian

Two questions.
1) Where can you buy that box?
2) How is it fixed down.
I would like a box but am concerned how it would fit to the floor.

hey Biggles
I bought my SR4 from NODDY, with the box in it. Maybe he put it in and could tell u where it came from..
I think it's held in with big fat self tapers.

The box in Brian's Searider was already fitted when I bought the boat. I think you can buy them, or very similar, from B&Q or other DIY retaliers

Think Plastimo do a soft triangluar bag in nylon which can be attached to the inside of the bows. Would be good for keeping ropes and fenders in etc. Rogue wave would be the chap to contact for them.

In our Searider we had an identical box but replaced it with a bench seat from Outhill specially for this RIB. Obviously far more expensive but perfect for storage, batteries etc

As Paul mentioned Outhill do bench seats but they also do smart fiberglass storage boxes- just don't look at th price list!
