We had 37 point something on my first 4m. Side by side seating, two fat blokes on board (although I may have been slimmer 15 years ago than I am now).
50hp all manual Yamaha.

I had the wrong prop. It was a Yamaha prop but the pitch was too big. Really poor acceleration. It was all I could afford at the time!

I did see 38 Kt yesterday but this was with the tide of about 3 kt

Love the Sr4 for tearing about one up more bangs for your bucks than most boats!

Thanks Matt it’s a bit white and girly but I do have 3 daughters and it was supposed to be for them to play on!

but I always thought the Sr4 was 4.2 metres long maybe the french have shrunk it!!

Simply awesome fun. I've been out in the ruff in my 4 so I knew how capable it was but yesterday was it longest outing.

Used more fuel in the discovery getting there and back than the old 2-smoke mariner did all day.
