SR5.4 Transom issues

Anybody on here dealt with delamination of the plywood in the transom of a 5.4

Can the glass on the inside of the transom be removed , replace the ply but leave the outer glass?

Any comments would be appreciated

Hi Woody, I would say thats quite a big job, what is the deck like and are you keeping it flooding?

Hi Whisper

The rest of the hull including the deck looks good, its just where the water has got under the aluminium capping on the transom.

Hull is flooding at the moment.

Cheers whisper

Just had a good look at the restoration project. I have no doubt in my ability, just about whether I can get the boat in the first place.

Will keep you posted
