Stainless A Frame for Humber

Hi,

I have a 5m Humber Ocean Pro (2005 built) and fancy fitting a stainless A Frame. Can anybody suggest a good supplier on the Sussex /Hampshire or Kent Coast?

Cheers

Hi,

What beam version do you have? , and do you have any garage door height restrictions?

I ask because I am about to embark on much the same project and have the 2m beam version with a bit of a height restriction due to the garage door!

Humber Stainless A Frame

Hi,

I believe mine is a 2m beam version and I have no height restrictions.
Humber are quoting £525 + £30 delivery for a single 2" stainless loop (shown in pictures) which seems a hell of a lot of money. Only works on single engine versions.
It is attached by 2 flat flanges which bolt through where the D Rings are fixed to the transom.
Got to be a cheaper way............
Let me know how you get on.
Cheers

After having a nightmare getting a replacement A-Frame for my rib and being let down by a company who supplied a bodge job I contacted a chap called Stainless Steve in lymington area, he is just finishing off a new A Frame for my Rib, he got good recomendations and you can tell he does a great job and at reasonable prices. He is in high demand which says alot.

So if you want a good job done and custom jobs no problem get in touch with him.

Welcome

I'm sure he does a good job but Can't see him being much cheaper than £500 notes. Stand to be corrected though.
