Stainless staples / tacks supplier?

I'm about to kick off a a jockey refurb, and need to remove & replace the cushion cover to replace the underlying bit of ply. Problem is I can't start until I know I can put it back together again!

I can't find stainless staples to fix the cover back down. Stainless tacks would do the trick just as well, but I can't seem to find a source for them either.

Anyone know of anywhere that sells that sort of thing? Someone must, as the current cover is stapled on, and they aren't rusting! I can only assume the company concenred isn't on t'internet.......

Any suggestions will be much appreciated!

Arrow makes stainless staples; problem is finding someone who stocks them.

Around here, a lot of trailer parts places have them, as they're used to secure bunk carpeting to the boards.

Some hardware stores near coastal areas (salt air exposure) also will have them.

Of course, that's over here, on the left side of the Atlantic.

Luck;

jky

The Arrow Item no. is #505SS1, although it obviously depends what size your stapler is!
