Stainless Steel Anchor Chain?

Anyone know a good, cheap place to get this??

I'm looking at 30-40m of 8 or 10mm close link.

Don't think cheap, and 30 to 40M of Stainless anything belong in the same sentence.

Yeah I know it ain't cheap, but then it will look the mutts with a SS anchor as well!

Cheapest I've found is about £8.50 per meter from an ebay shop and not sure if that includes VAT or not........or even if the shop are declaring VAT!?

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Marine-Chan...Q3amesstQQtZkm

I was hoping one of you might know a foundry or somewhere that actually makes the stuff and will sell to the public!??!

I get the impression from the several widely varying prices I've had already obtained (ranging from £8.50 - £14.99 per meter) that this is marked up quite high as it's.......erm.....shiny!

Calibrated chain is manufactured to a better tolerance (ie consistent dimension of each link) so that it will fit a winch. Not necessary if you're going to raise it by hand.
