Staying in London

OK - not exactly "RIB Talk" - but its got a nautical theme....

I've just spent a week in London on a course - some of the things I hate about staying in London are :-

Small rooms
Noisy, Busy location
Crowded, underground during the rush hour.

Well now I've found the solution!!!

The Hilton London Docklands is located on the south side of the Thames near canary Wharf.

Its quite
Rooms with river views (not mine )
River Taxi Service - no more tubes!!

1st photo is the hotel from the opposite side of the river - 1 wharf building and 2 modern towers for the bedrooms.

The masts you can see is an old ship in the drydock which is now used as a restaurant.

The other "drydock" between the 2 towers is now permanently filled

Definately an interesting hotel with plenty of history

RIBase
Agree that it is a top spot.
Bit pricey for ordinary mortals though isn't it?
