Steamin' hot!

Ever felt a bit of a berk?

Bought a new battery for my boat as the old one wouldn't hold a charge. Fitted it, all ok so far!

Might as well give the engine a run, hose & flushing muff fitted, water on. Fuel on, starts first time. Great!

Not long though before there's smoke, no, it's only steam coming out of the centre of the prop. 'Ummm' says he, scratches his head several times thinking it looks expensive. But hold on it's running ok or at least its sounds ok.

Bloody fool! Someone has connected the hose to the hot tap - no wonder its steaming hot!

I'm sure you meant to do that to make sure you had heated the engine properly /melted any ice in it ? ( that'd be my excuse )
