Went down to my berth on the marina to check my valiant 6m and my "brand new" 2.7m tender and 5 hp outboard. As the Irishman says.... "there it was gone". Some scum bag stole my new honda tender and outboard. I called the cops and faxed the other marinas in Dublin to keep a look out. Four days later I get a call from a mate who was "mooching" on Malahide marina here in Dublin and found my tender safe and complete. It appears someone in my yacht club decided the best way home was to steal and mini rib and avoid the roads and the police that night. But here's the crunch... 4 miles in the dark on a 2.7m rib with a 5hp . Shame he had my petrol to get him there, it would have been nice for him to run out of fuel. So be warned.... even on a secure marina "our own " will rob from us.
