Worth checking. Lets not forget that insurance companys are designed to make a profit. They will employ someone whos job will be to avoid paying out for a loss.

Small print and all that.

Don't forget your insurance cover's you for legal fees, that means you can get your own loss adjuster (independent), they will argue your case and fee's should be covered by your insurance policy, read your policy and do some research for a good loss adjuster, bear in mind most work on a percentage of the final payout so it's in there intrest to make sure you get what your entitled to, as for makeing a statement without your own legal representative present that's a no no, again they have to pay your legal fee's
