Computery thingamy that you plug into the OPTI ECU so that you can do your own servicing.

Would you consider non residents taking advantage of the facilities - for a fee of course ?

Cheers

Phil.

PS - Still owe you a fiver from our last OPTI oil transaction. Not using so much OIL at the moment so it's likely to be a little while before I get to wherever you are now - so if you give me an address I can put it in a very early x-mas/happy new yard card for you.

yep we are still at Saxon and will keep the training rooms on.

Yes the idea is to run it as a resource centre and yes non resident permits could be arranged!

I hope you and the family are well

Kewl project

Stu,

Hope you are well, great idea and I wish you every sucess! As you well know Tappy and I use our boat too much to store it though... but "day passes" is a good idea too.

As a thought (and i am serious) you could run an "honesty" bar where you help yourself from a fridge and write it in a book, same with coffee and T, crisps etc. - i've seen this done in several hotels recently.

The plans for this are coming along nicely and if we can get over a few issues we will be signing the lease in the new year (first week or so) and it will be open for business in January. It's a big and expensive project for us and I want to get it right.

So far most of the suggestions have been about putting stuff in your stomach or getting it out again. This is duly noted and yes the honesty Bar seems a good idea and clean reest rooms seems appropriate.

Strorage of Gear that seems very sensible. So we will include a lockable storage area for kit about the size of a fridge freezer with every placement

Laundry we will be puting a washing machine and tumble drier in the unit for our patrons use.

The unit also comes with a large portacabin which we will turn into a clubhouse at a later date.

We are negotiating with a Mechanic, Laminator, Electronics guy and a boat Valet company to offer preferential rates for our customers on site if needed.

Any other ideas /suggestions are more than welcome!

Good luck with it all Stuart. Hope all goes well. Will you have an RYA School also?

(As you know we don't keep our boat in that area so we're not really prospective clients but if you were to go for a site in Pompey may I suggest Pete's orchard? )

missus

Yes but it might be a JCB. we have an option to renovate an old slipway adjacent to the yard so a bucket might come in handy!

Missus,

You'd be very welcome to use our facilities if you were passing, but we are OK for tennants at the moment. We have placed all but three of the slots and we can't have any more unless we start stacking ( which is bigger bucks and will come later)

We will be putting in a small indoor stacking system for Zapcats from the beginning cos nobody is looking after them properly at the moment and there is a lot of em about!

We are going to be keeping the training eatablishemnt at Saxon and PPT will be operating a training base from there. So I think we would probably prefer to work with Jono than in competition with him. We probably will go through the procedure of setting up a Skool at the new unit in case we decide to transfer out of Saxon.

I already have plans for squire Petes orchard missus.

Hypotetically speaking if we were to set up in Portsmouth what facilities would you like to see?

Like I said we are Pompey based and so too far away! Most of your clients are on the Itchen I presume but thanks for the offer of the 'facilities'.

Also small chandlers with essentials (spare nav lights etc.)
Coffee place....storage; think they've all been mentioned.
Your own BBQ (or we'll sell you ours in memory of the do at your current abode )

missus
