Storing 4.3m SIB on Pontoon

Hi

Wanting to get some advice please.

I have a 4.3m fully inflatable quicksilver dingy. I plan on storing it in the Marina all year round on one of their pontoons. The Marina is Tidal (on the thames) and have spoke to one of the guys at the marina who said storing a SIB shouldn't be a problem as the mud is soft so wont harm the PVC.

I have bought a UV resistant boat cover (breathable one) to protect it from the sun.

I plan would plan to visit the marina twice per month (weekly during boat season) to either venture out or to give it a clean & check tube pressure. I will release some pressure between trips to ensure it the tubes dont over inflate during the heat.

Reason for keeping it on the pontoon is i don't have anywhere else to put it other than storing, then setting it up between trips which is very time consuming.

Your advice on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you can't get out....

I guess most of us are frustrated by not being able to sensibly get out on the water, at present so what can be done the meantime ?
Luckily my boat's still on the drive.
Trailer was redone last season, lighting board & trailer wiring in Jan
so far:
Washed and checked lines & warps - redoing whippings. heat seals etc
Renewed the lines on the fenders
Emptied pods / console & checked all safety equipment
Fabricated a hood for the chart platter to protect from sun galre
Done some work to make the cover easier to secure

Next:
Extra clean of tubes & application of tube protector
Scrub all those hard to reach nooks and crannies (on the boat!)
Get to grips with more advanced chartplotter functions
Refresh navigation / passage planning

What other boat related jobs / learning are others doing to fill the time?
