Sunday 6th October

Anyone going to be about in the Solent on Sunday 6 Oct

We are looking to launch mid - late morning for a few hours, possibly lunch at the Folly or similar.

did you manage to get out , I did see an avon blasting around, I was coming back from the Folly Inn at about 9.30 am helming a 36 foot rag & stick heading back to Hamble, conditions looked good for ribbing

Yes, we got out and about - had a good blast around the Solent, then around the Island for fun.

Didn't manage to meet up with anyone else though

Hoping to get out again next Saturday - any takers?

how long did getting round the

island take, I believe it is aprox 70 ish miles ??

We launched from Camber Slip at Portsouth, headed off to the Nab Tower, then a slow run around the island - popping in and out of various bits for a looksee.

Took us around 5 hours or so, but this included a stop for a picnic lunch.
