Surface scratch tubes - what to do

Hi,

Long story short: storage tent got caught by the wind, and managed leave some scratches on the starboard rear side tube when I saw the white residue, I though the reinforced layer was penetrated. Turned out to be concrete dust from one of the foundations for the storage tent.

To me, the scratches seem pretty shallow. I think my soul has a deeper scratch. Is there anything I can do to make the scratches go away, or at least blend in with the tube? I'm thinking low speed polishing..

I would just get some aerospace protectant rubbed over it and stop looking at it if it were me

Think of it as character and the story of the boat we all have scratches and dings, its inevitable with age, unless you stay in wrapped up in cotton wool and don't breathe
