surveys

hi guys
does anyone know of someone who could do a survey on my rib to get an identification number for insurance reasons any help would be great

This was recommended to me as a starting point for surveyors
Marine Surveyors & Marine Designers

I would suggest someone on here can offer advice on where to locate it yourself.

Is it not just less hassle to insure with an insurer who aren't requesting an id number. Mine certainly don't.

other insurers will only offer third party and no cover on hull is yours the same

My small rib was home built and has no hin no I insure with craftinsure with no problems and no conditions

Craftinsure only require you to keep note of serial number for the outboard. Boat, trailer etc. all still covered. Just make sure total sum insured is adequate.

i checked out there site and craft can be no more than 25 years old mine is an 80's model.
maybe worth a go thou.

Give them a call they are real people who can actually talk and are quite happy to do so
First time I called them I expected an automated phone system but no, real people who can help and will advise on the best way forward
