Has anyone got a service or repair manual for the side mount control box. I need an exploded view, replaced the kill switch and a bush fell out during the process. Humpy dumpy battling to put it together again.

Try brownspoint marine in the US. Their website used to carry all the parts catalogues in pdf which you can download or view. The remotes tend to be detailed at the back of the main engine parts catalogue.

Thanks, been there, manuals upto 2008/9, and none for my control box.

Is it the side mount where the mechanism is hidden from view, or where the whole unit mounts externally on the side of the console?

Assuming it's the same as my old one, presumably something else also dropped out along with the bush?

How big is it, and I assume it's made of plastic / nylon?

Mate, would you believe I did EXACTLY the same thing yesterday!!
