The Whest is awake! I spell it like I hear it, but I'm actually an Ulster man
Many years ago, I man I know well was on the counter in a local shop. In those ancient days, fags were sold in packets but also in tins (of 100). A lad from Cork landed in and requested 10 cigarettes. He was handed the tin. It didn't end well. I recall a wild night in Galway being coaxed by young Galwegian burds to repeat "There's a baby behind the radiator" while they fell about laughing.
Vive la différence agus sláinte mhaith, I say!
