Sydney RIB Trip

Went on RIB trip recently in Sydney - great trip from Darwin Harbour under bridge, out through heads to open ocean - then up to Bondi. Even got to see some whales on their northerly migration - very cool indeed.

The RIB was an 11.3 Naiad with 3 x Yamaha 300's on the back. I politely (of course) asked the guy about the kill cord - as it wasn't worn. Gave the background of a lot of discussions due to recent events. Just said wasn't used. Hmm. 900hp!

Looks like great fun, as for kill cords....

Having been the victim of a numpty skipper in Oman who crashed into a 'mountain' as the police put it, I'd have stayed on the dock.

Welcome to Sydney. We don't need kill cords, they get in the way when wrestling crocodiles.........
