I used a seago 2.3m with a slatted floor when I had a Ribcraft 585. It worked well. The slatted floor made it much lighter and allowed it to fold up smaller than inflatable floor models. I kept it at the bow deflated and blew it up when needed.

I have a very small Wetline/Seago type dinghy for mooring up. I think its 1.85m might be less. Its so small I can not sit on the seat and row.I have to remove the seat and sit on the floor otherwise my knees get in the way.The wife calls it the coracle. It does the job and folds up quite small. No transom though.
