Thames Cruise report

Just come across the Thames Cruise report in the features section. Great job by Julie Lancaster and supberb pictures from John K!

Despite the weather it was an excellent event and is definately going to be repeated next year!

I am very impressed with the quality of the pictures - were you using a digitsal camera John ?
If so - what make and model ?

The photos were taken with a Canon PowerShot S10 digital camera (aka the GeekCam). I did a bit of tweaking in Paint Shop Pro to optimise the images, and I reckon they came out pretty well. It's so much easier than having to mess around with a scanner.

I've kept the images quite small so that they load quickly, because that's what I prefer -- but I'm open to comments. Would you (that's a generic "you", not just Allen!) prefer bigger pictures or are you happy with them this size?
