Was told by the previous owner it should make 22mpg on a run, but conveniently the speedo isn't working due to a 5 speed upgrade he made so unable to verify. But she pushes along nicely at 70 reving at only 2000rpm

The original 283 sbc V8. I thought it a bit small for such a heavy truck but it's got more that enough power for the time being.
