Exactly like the error message said. You tried to include too many images in your post.
There is a maximum allowance of 5 attached images, or 10 linked images, per post. I've changed the text of the error message now to make it clearer

So this is the final rundown then, showing makes of boat:
G50 Topline - Topline
E77 Rico 2 - Aphrodite
R12 Ribaletta - AMT
R69 Zing-a-ling - Pascoe
R44 Bladerunner Challenger - Bladerunner
N40 Dutch Connection - Capelli
R22 My Pleasure - Osprey
R7 Blaza - Phantom Evo
E72 Iaonnou 2 - Aphrodite
R13 outboardsevices.co.uk - Pascoe
E71 Iaonnou 1 - Aphrodite
B33 Channel 16 - Rib Eye
R1 Bananashark - Bananashark
B35 Bufalocean - Pascoe
All those in bold completed every stage and congratulations again to them all, the others did not complete one or more stages.
Clearly a bad week for the Pascoe boats, and it doesn't look like Cookee had a lot of luck in the nanashark. The only other British boat that dropped out was the Bladerunner which I'm not sure is really a RIB anyway.
I don't think it was really fair to mention Scorpion and Cobra in the context of British boats falling apart, as they weren't even entered!
Still looking forward to hearing more of the gory details!
John

IMHO and in the opinion of others
1. Pascoe boats (or at least those that were racing) were not built for such rough seas. Same applies for Cookees boat.
2. The Bladerunner a stunning looking boat is clearly not a RIB and again because is a trimaran suffers a lot in high waves and beam seas.

100% CORRECT and I think that I have corrected my Greek compatriots at some point

The photos are on the German RIB forum, scream and fly as well as the Italaian RIB forum and the Greek RIB forum for any one who's interested.

@Eupa, please enjoy below a photo of the PRESIDENT of the Greek forum for RIBs. Our President has brought all the good fortune to the Greek team in Egypt.
Actually the reason for the good perfomance of the Greek Rib is not due to the boat or the crew. The secret is the hair.
The more hair one has the faster the boat goes. The hair create an additional aerodynamic lift that helps the RIB fly over the water.

Actually he was penalised for disapearing off over the horizon when we were all meant to be in a convoy for each others safety and security - not very helpfull to his fellow competitors really, and as was pointed out in the briefing he could have stopped occasionally and caught everyone else up or just gone in a circle occasionally if the speed was too slow for him - it's what we did!

Correct
The boat suffered damage to the periferals such as the console (got unstuck), GPS (I believe) and electrical faults.
Welcome back Cookee ....
@ Zorba the Greek don't show them the other photos cause they'll get jealous

The only boat to suffer real structoral failure was the Ribeye from Belgium, most of which could not be seen, but the boat was "very wobbly" after the first leg. Some other boats had some maintenance (Pascoe to its transom etc) but continued. The SR7 had a fuel tank failure, The Bladerunner had the console come loose, where was the Scorpion?

As far as I know Paul Lemmer hasn't raced anything for several years - in fact it was probably a BananaShark in 2001 or 2002 and he didn't win anything! Also he was navigating not driving - Sir Charles Blois was driving his own boat!

Besides the poor reliablity, the british boats proved to be no match in terms of performance to the Greek RIB. The Greek TOPLINE RIB won easily all 4 legs of the rally.
|
Well I must have been walking around with my eyes shut because I never saw Hot Lemon there at all - were you there?
We were not in the same class as the Greek RIB, I believe it was the biggest boat as well and certainly much better suited to the conditions than any other boat - it would have been nice to have some calmer weather to see which would have been the quickest then .........

IMHO My boat was fine - sadly we broke a saddle on the first leg (it has a reputation for eating Mercury's finest!) and the BOAT made it through without any damage at all.
Under the BIBOA definition of a RIB the Bladerunner probably isn't a RIB any more that Buzzis P1 boat is, but if had done any testing at all they would have brought different props and the battering the first set of props gave the console etc it might have got on a lot better and suprised a few people!

Fair enough Cookee Better luck neχt time then
As far I know from people who raced the bladerunner on the last leg it wasn't doing that brilliant speed wise. Similar (if not slower) to the Greek boat and it was stuffing a lot. This is what I was told.
