I suppose it must be, hadn't realised its second Monday already.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

You don't win a prize for knowing that sort of thing

See you all After Eight !

Apart from a Boating Lady's Birthday there may be extensive discussion of
  • the Channel Islands Run
  • RIBex
  • the weather
  • general muck-ups
  • Nasher's South of France trip
  • If you have a boat for sale, now's your chance to approach Nauti

Yep, looking forward to the monthly bash. I'll be bringing up Boat Care Dave, and Tim M (Plus of course Tim's delightful other half!), so will see you all shortly. Spot the recent modification to my Land Rover...

It's true, it's true. I must learn to be nicer to people. Especially BMW owners - BMW Owners nil, Jimbo's Landy 1, is the present score!

Jimbo,

Not another accident. You'll have to let me know when your driving around Southampton in future so I can make sure I'm not !

What do you mean 'another accident'? You've got the wrong end of the stick, my old stick. I've only ever had the one accident, over a year ago, still pending!

And it's not me you have to watch out for, it's crazy ladies who pull in front of you while you're towing, and execute an emergency stop about 4 metres from your front bumper! I broke a headlight an everything (BMW 325, RIP).

ecclesiastical natters

Top Night and good laugh!

Antoinette's birthday well and truly...

Nice to see all the gang again ! The students (Tim M & Jimbo) were arm-wrestling : (welcome to newbie James, good to see Jules & Dave also), Nauti (aka 'Toilet Duck' ) began hallucinating that he was a flowerpot and had to be removed from the windowsill, Nasher was offering screws to anyone who'd have them ..

Pete 7 has the saily bug, Sir Hal arrived in wearing a spinnaker, Andy seemed to be attending some sort of boat jumble in the car park!

Great to meet Chris from Southampton who has a few stories up his sleeve!
Martin has been bombing around Southampton water in a fastcraft...

A few old tales were dragged up again, including Brian 'Bitten' and the saga of the watch on the Breton Isles (2006 )

Usual Church night then!

People are keen to run with a BBQ soon? Perhaps the June meet?

Kathleen & Paul

Bloody cheek. Its only XL.
Given a few years in the sun it will go pink too. Then you'll be wanting to inherit it.

Did I write spinnaker? I meant slim-fitting.

It was all that talk from Pete 7 about halyards and more sheets than debenhams household.

You'd think we were a saily club

(When it turns Cowes Pink I'll have it alright )
