The Wrong Way Round Scotland

Findhorn Marina is sponsoring THE WRONG WAY ROUND SCOTLAND.

Sandy Morrison will be circumnavigating Scotland “the wrong way” in his 5.5M RIB which will be pushed by a Mercury 75hp Optimax outboard which has been donated by Findhorn Marina. Both Sandy and Simon Paterson from Findhorn Marina are RNLI Governors and this seemed to be a perfect partnership to form for the purpose of raising money for the RNLI and International Rescue Corps.

While the trip is planned for the 30th June 2008 the exact timing will depend on weather but the trip is planned to take 4-5 days. There will be a support vehicle which will follow the passage and a website with live updates to keep everyone informed.

Sandy is looking for experienced people to join him on parts of the trip and also looking for support crew to follow in the 4x4. So if you are looking for something a bit different to do please get in touch. alexander@morrison9499.freeserve.co.uk

You could even just join us on your 'patch' on your RIB All welcome

Funds raised will be split between the RNLI and IRC Sponsorship can be sent to Findhorn Marina or by calling in.

Alternatively please log on to http://www.justgiving.com/alexandermorrison RNLI
OR http://www.justgiving.com/alexandermorrison1 IRC

On behalf of the RNLI and IRC
Thank You

Money is a bit tight at the moment, its needed to finish off my build.
However I may be able to help as time isn't so bad midweek, my workplace owes me half my life at the moment and I could think of worse ways to use it.
