Thinking Of Buying????

I have an opportunity to buy a rib boat for the first time. I really know next to nothing about them about need some guidance. This would just be a fun boat for shooing around Lake Michigan and a few larger inland lakes.

I need some guidance on what its worth so I dont over pay. Its a former Coast Guard boat Zodiac Hurricaine RHI 21’ boat with twin Honda BF90 Engines and Float on duel axle Trailer.

Any thougths or information you could give me would sure be appreciated

Whatever contact is best for you. Post here or contact me direct.

Nice! That would make a sweet first RIB. I am actually in the market too. If the motors are in good shape I would pay $25K-30K for that Hurricane. Those are excellent motors and should be hassle free. The tubes look a bit faded but that shouldn't be a problem.

Just for a comparison, right now I have a 20' Zodiac SRMN that I would sell for about $18K (Just put on a brand new Honda 90 that was about $10K) if I ever see a clean Hurricane like that on the west coast. That Zodiac Hurricane is a real tough boat that will last and will take you through some rough water. The Zodiac SRMN isn't built as tough and has a shallower hull compared to the Hurricane. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
