Thinking of upgrading

Hi all were thinking of chopping up from a medline 2 with a 150 2 stroke merc saltwater to a 6.5 sized vessel.

Was looking at the ribeye 650 and ticks quite a few boxes but not looking to shell out much more than 20k.

Requirements are as per current rib, family boat, Solent running, Bit of towing, mainly day tripping, sunbathing/picnic area and plenty of storage.

Probably keep around sort of engine size - up to 200

As always would appreciate any thoughts or sage advice

Cheers

Nick

RIBase
Lots of used Ballistics on the market which would also fit your specification.

Nice upgrade!
Should be fine with that Budget...may take a "little" time to find the right model/spec that exactly suits...in the meantime try as many Rigs as you can...and don't be tempted compromise! something will come along that ticks all the boxes....Try to enjoy the process...and learn all you can along the way,you may even modify your shopping list.
Like cars...there's always another Boat!

Thanks guys, yes I'm going to try and force myself to look at a few - do have impulsive purchase issues tho!!. Thanks for the ballistic tip they do look good.

Be nice to get a combo of the front layout of the ballistic and the rear of the rib eye.

What do you think about trading in my Medline 2? Or better off chucking it on ebay and deal with the all of that joy. I'll also place it on here in the for sale section.

She's in ok nick for her age, standard wear and tear. Hypalon tubes were a later upgrade. Trailer is fine. No idea on what to put her up for tho as they seem pretty rare. Engine hrs need a check but I think it about 250. Uploaded a quick pic.
