Great days fishing on Friday. Mackerel, dog fish off mackerel bait and then 8 bass in the evening when the tide starting to flow...

Dislike ...... Pure jealousy.... Am getting withdrawal symptoms its been 7 days since my last fix

And have to wait at least another 6 days

They're known as "rock salmon" in fishmongers (sounds better than dogfish!). Very bony, apparently, though I've never tried them myself. I've only ever seen them used as bait for mackerel.

So I'm told, anyway. Never looked it up.

Edit: Googling also turns up "Sweet William" as a name for selling to the public.
