This looked very dodgy..... (please read)

OK, on my way home from the pub at 11pm tonight saw a nice humber on a trailer in southampton, noticed that the numberplate on the trailer was too new for the car towing it, nothing unusual about that I hear you say.
However the car then proceeded to drive like he was doing the RAC rally down the road with the trailer bouncing everywhere, not how most people tow their pride and joy!
Decided it looked a bit dodgy but my pickup was having trouble keeping up. When we got on the dual carriageway I saw blue lights behind coming up fast and although on the inside lane already, the car and trailer swerved over further onto the inside even though the outside lane was clear??? (Turned out to be an ambulance).
Could be nothing, could be something. Anyway better to be safe than sorry, I have just reported all these details to the old bill. If anyone on here has lent out their boat or found it's not on the drive anymore then that may have been it! If this was just the owner then accept my apologies but at least we are keeping an eye out for thieving buggers having our toys away!

Boat:
Humber approx 5m
Blue tubes / orange hull
Mariner outboard

Reg on trailer: CK06CXY (not 100% on this)

Car: Dark Blue Passat estate 1997-2005 (large labels on rear doors, taxi perhaps)

JK: feel free to move this if need be.

I used DVLA themselves:-

You need to know manufacturer as well though.
