That's the one

But - it was the same ad for the lighter duty one I got, so my advice id to phone and ask if the heavier duty ones are in yet, and if not wait a bit longer if you can.

Colour? I'm colour blind but a kind of silvery grey I guess

An update.

The cover has proved itself, keeping the boat much dryer than before, the only long term problem has been the rain leaking through where puddles are able to form.
Leaving the bung out at the stern means most of the water eventually finds its way out, but unfortunately some of it finds its way through the un-sealable hatch to the void under the deck, and I have to sponge it out occasionally.

To try and solve this I’ve used a collapsible pole from our old tent, and wrapped the metal sleeves at the joints with push bike cushioned handlebar tape to stop the metal chaffing through the cover. The aim being to create a ridge along the boat so the water runs off, without having any long poles around to store when the cover is off.
I’d previously tried a long webbing strap, but was unable to keep it tight enough to do any good.

1. The webbing strap I’ve made to hold the pole into the anchor line channel at the Bow. I’ve pushed a rubber stopper on the end of the pole so it’s a better fit inside the channel.

2. Another piece of split pipe insulation on top of the screen. I already have pieces cut to slot over the top corners of the screen to stop Chaffing.

3. The pole passes over a piece of overflow pipe covered in insulation which has scallops cut out of the ends to fit over the seat backs.

4. Another simple webbing and shock cord arrangement that hooks onto a stainless hook screwed inside the outboard well. The only part permanently attached to the boat.

5. The cover now has a ridge running the length of the boat that should stop water forming puddles and leaking through.

Nasher.

Nicely done - I had a similar thing in the bow so not having long enough poles I stuck the Mrs Exercise ball in the bow - you can see the bulge in the pic. I also butchered the back around the a-frame - I'll tidy it up with the sewing machine some time when its raining over the summer !

Jambo.

I'm not sure without measuring it, which I'll do for you tomorrow.

From memory its about 6in high and about 2.5in diameter.

I brought it off ebay several years ago and bolted it down to the deck with a large stainless steel plate underneath to spread the load.

Sorry, have just had a quick look and can't find it, I'll try again later.
I think Pete7 has some other contact details for them.

Very good. We brought a new tent last year and I kept all the ploes, webbing etc from the old one.

Jambo

My 6in high and about 2.5in diameter guess was almost spot on.

One of these:-

Although I'm sure I wouldn't have paid anywhere near that for one.

We were working with the e bay chap sharing stock, it was us who orignally measured up etc .The e-bay chap gave up as he wasnt selling the huge quantity he needed to cover costs and the production costs from china doubled , I have the remaining stock lots for the smaller ones - no 2 and 3 but only 1 x no4 17-19 ft and one no5 19-21 ft lots of no 6 . I will order some replacments ready for autum but need to order 100 of each size minimum.

Bought one of these covers from ebay (20-22ft) for my 5.85, very happy with the seller, it arrived within 24 hrs. Cover seems well made with lots of straps and buckles to secure it, it just about fitted over the A frame, engine and tubes so was on the generous size for the Rib.
