Tiny pimples on tubes

Recovered my boat from its drive on dock in the week for winterising and noticed some very tiny pimples on the tubes around the areas where the tubes seems to be joined / sectioned. These areas are also starting to look a tiny bit worn, I think from where the winter cover tightens around it. My tubes are two tone, white on top and blue underneath, the underneath all still looks perfect.

The tubes are perfect in terms of holding air etc but are 15+ years old (they are the originals).

Are they on their way out? Can they be refurbished but not completely replaced? Seems a shame to re-tube it for ostensibly a little bit of wear.

what is the damage these days for a good re-tube?

Hi the tiny pimples may be age related heat\sunlight damage. From Cost of retube used to be about a thousand a metre.

the reason I say heat damage is that while replacing patches and fittings on hypalon tubes using heatgun blisters exactly the same appear on patches.

Calm down Revenger, I've got other things to do that sit on here all day!

Anyway, I left them, they don't appear to be getting any worse and the boat is in a 'Well used' condition.

Nasher.
